I am Maartje Hartman, GZ psychologist, EMDR Europe Practitioner and registered Outdoor Psychologist. I like to work flexible and accessible and use scientifically proven methods such as EMDR, cognitive behavioural therapy, schema therapy, ACT and mindfulness.

EQUINE- Assisted THERAPY
In collaboration with a horse coach, I offer Equine-assisted therapy on a farm in Leiden on the Vlietweg. You will be guided by me as a psychologist, the horse coach and the horses. EMDR, or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, is a therapy developed for people who experience persistent consequences of traumatic experiences, such as accidents, sexual assault or violent incidents. These traumatic events can lead to recurring anxious images or thoughts, resulting in various complaints such as anxiety, sadness or sleep problems. In such cases, EMDR is the treatment of first choice to effectively tackle these complaints.
